STATEMENT OF NEED/TARGET AUDIENCE Counseling patients on the natural history, treatment options and personal implications of the diagnosis of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) is complex and time consuming. The many variants of this disease make it a challenge to explain important information to patients in an understandable manner. The goal of this series is to help physicians better understand how to optimally discuss NHL with patients in their practices. Additionally, some of the programs will also include first-hand accounts of actual patients with NHL in order to provide listeners with another perspective on patient education.
